As with any PA, "stereo" only lasts until the venue gets full of audience warm & a few chatty people in there, then stereo "was" OK. I like the "guitar" button on channel 2, works great with magnetic or transducer p'ups.Īs I only do live venues, I cannot say how clean the sound is, but I know from past Alesis gear I have (& still use) their equipment is plenty reliable and sounds good too.Įverything works as I expect it to, chorus & rotary speakers (not my personal needs) work only when in full stereo, but nice & clean sounding. I am a solo act, but I have many musical friends who sometimes turn up and plug in, this is the only reason I got this FX version. I see FX as something the performer hides behind, I'm brave enough to avoid FX thank you. Not often I use FX so maybe a "hint" of FX for a guest singer sometimes. If you don't share my compatibility concerns with Logic Pro, check out also the Mackie PROFX. In conclusion, if you want to combine audio interface with a mixer, it works. Power & USB cable connections could nest somehow in the case, instead of occupying space in the back. Would be much easier if the Phantom Power switch wasn't in the back. Haven't listen any major difference yet, but 16-bit is still pretty outdated for 2018. The price is definitely adding up points to it. Generally good enough effects for the price. Good choice, if you want to mess around with your signal's options in an all-in-one, compact unit. Has all the send/return/rca inputs you would expect from a complete mixer. Very useful set of 3 switches, that easily redirect your signal between main/usb/monitors.
